Help Westborough Girl Scouts Go to Costa Rica
Pink flamingos are returning to help out with fundraising.
The Pink Flamingos are returning to Westborough with the help of Senior Girl Scout Troop 30555.
A flock gathers on your lawn or a friend’s lawn to help celebrate a special event, such as a birthday, anniversary, retirement, send off to college, or just to have fun. Troop 30555 is following in the footsteps of an older Girl Scout troop and is raising funds for a potential trip to Costa Rica in 2015.
How does a flocking work? Under the cover of darkness, the flock “lands” to help with your celebration for 24 hours, after which they “fly away,” under the cover of darkness, of course. Flocks cost roughly $10 per dozen flamingos up to 100 flamingos! For an additional $10, the troop will make a sign to shout out a message to your “flockee.”
