Goodbye, Cold; Hello, Potholes

The number of potholes in Westborough this winter has been "typical," DPW Assistant Manager Rich Voutas says.

Motorists get good news and bad news Friday.

The coldsnap's end will make outdoor activities more comfortable -- and turn some streets into obstacle courses.

But, pothole season in Westborough has been "pretty typical," Department of Public Works Assistant Manager Rich Voutas said Thursday.

"It's no better or worse than it usually is," he said.

Motorists can report a pothole to the DPW through the town's website, Voutas noted.

As of Thursday night, potholes had been reported this week near 185 to 187 Ruggles St., and 232 Ruggles St., according to the site.
