An Evening of Frost at Westborough Public Library

April 16 event is sponsored by the Westborough Cultural Council.

The Westborough Public Library announces “An Evening of Frost” with actor Stephen Collins on Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. The event features a unique, interactive performance that includes a short biographical introduction to the poet’s life, followed by a presentation and discussion of several of Frost’s popular poems. 

Poems that will be discussed include: “A Tuft of Flowers,” “Mending Wall,” “Birches,” and “After Apple Picking.” Participants are encouraged to read the poems before the event, and copies are available at the library.

Stephen Collins grew up in Cambridge, and received a BA in Literature from UMass Boston. He has taught seminars on Walt Whitman, Thomas Hardy, Shakespeare, and Robert Frost at various locations throughout the country. He also works as a professionally licensed tour guide doing narrated historical tours of Boston.

This program is supported by a grant from the Westborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
