WESTBOROUGH _ On Friday, August 16, 2013, beginning at 10 a.m., Worcester County’s hottest new attraction will be open for business. Sky Zone Westborough, located at 290 Turnpike Road (Route 9 East, Speedway Plaza) Westborough, is an Indoor Trampoline Park which features 30,000 sq. feet of space and almost 20,000 sq. ft. of trampolines. Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Parks have fast become the rage across the country.
Developed in 2004 by Rick Platt in Las Vegas, Nevada, today Sky Zone boasts parks in 30 states and Canada, with more opening each month. Locally, Sky Zone Westborough franchise owner David O’Connor is poised to make the Westborough location a prime destination point for the Worcester County region.

Sky Zone Westborough offers three 3-D Dodgeball courts, a basketball court and a main court, with 7,000 sq. ft. of free jump space. The Foam Zone has over 10,000 foam cubes in which to jump. A variety of programs are offered at Sky Zone Westborough, which are tailored to meet the needs of everyone from toddlers to adults. SkyRobics, a low impact workout that combines advanced calisthenics, core exercises and strength-building aerobics on the patented all-trampoline, walled playing courts, will be coming this Fall.
In addition, Sky Zone Westborough offers a variety of birthday packages and corporate events.

“We’ve really made this a place for the whole family to enjoy,” O’Connor added.
The local economy has already gotten a boost with the arrival of Sky Zone Westborough, as well.
“We’ve already hired 80 people and have plans to increase that number to 100 shortly,” O’Connor said.
