Corridor Nine Launches its Annual Food Drive

Corridor Nine, along with the Doubletree Hotel, HYPE9 (young professionals group of Corridor Nine), our local schools and member businesses, are joining forces again to collect food for those in need. In the true spirit of a community partnership, we are hoping to engage all businesses and residents to help us fight local hunger.  We are asking businesses and schools to set up collection bins at your locations and encourage employees, staff members, and parents/school children to make donations.  

This FOOD DRIVE will end on Thursday, December 12th, and benefit the local pantries of Corridor Nine's five core towns of Westborough, Northborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury and Grafton.  Our collection goal is a minimum of 10,000 items this year.  Special thanks to Mark's Moving & Storage for donating the boxes to collect all the food donations.

If you would like to make a donation directly, items can be dropped off at the Corridor Nine Chamber office at 30 Lyman Street in Westborough or the Doubletree Hotel at 5400 Computer Drive in Westborough.  Cash donations or checks are also accepted.  Checks should be made payable to:  Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, 30 Lyman Street/P.O. Box 1555, Westborough, MA  01581.  Please indicate on the check that you are making a donation for the food drive.

The Doubletree Hotel is willing to pick up the food items from anyone willing to collect items on our behalf.  Please contact the Chamber office (508-836-4444) if you would be willing to collect food items at your business or school location.
