Arena-DeRosa Endorsed By Rep. Dykema, Others

Boston, MA – James Arena-DeRosa, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor, announced that he has secured several endorsements, including that of State Representative Carolyn Dykema of his hometown of Holliston. 

Representative Dykema cited Arena-DeRosa’s experience at the local, state, and federal government including his leadership role at USDA Food and Nutrition Service, along with his lifelong commitment to the community.

“James Arena-DeRosa will bring experienced leadership to the office of Lieutenant Governor,” said Representative Dykema. “James is passionate, and has an impressive track record working on issues that matter to families. I'm proud to endorse his candidacy.”

Additionally, Arena- DeRosa was endorsed by State Representative Cory Atkins of Concord and former State Senator David Magnani of Framingham, who served in the state legislature from 1985 to 2004.

Representative Atkins added, “The DeRosa family has been close to the Atkins family for over forty years; their leadership and community values run deep and I think James will make an exemplary Lieutenant Governor.”

About James Arena-DeRosa- James is a Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor. Previously, James was the Northeast Regional Administrator for the USDA where he managed a 12 billion dollar annual budget encompassing 15 programs. James also served as the Clinton Administration’s New England Director of the Peace Corps and the Director of Public Advocacy at Oxfam America. James is a graduate of Harvard. He lives with his wife, Lina, and two sons in Holliston, where Lina runs the local senior center.
