"McTeacher Night" at the Route 30 McDonald's on June 11 raised $1,133.35 in food sales, coupon book sales, and a "Teacher Tip Jar" for the Hastings Elementary School. Hastings staff members "worked" at McDonald's, taking orders, serving,
and working the drive through from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. McDonald's donated 100 percent of
the proceeds back to the school.
