Westborough Youth and Family Services Newsletter Available

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Learn about Westborough Youth and Family Services.

The agency's January/February newsletter is available here.

2. Support the Mill Pond School.

The Mill Pond School Council meets at 8:15 a.m. Friday. The school's diversity council is among the agenda items.

3. Register for baseball or softball.

Westborough Youth Baseball and Softball is registering players for its spring season. Registration will end later this month.

4. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Friday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Freshman girls basketball: at Nashoba, 4 p.m.
  • Freshman boys basketball: vs. Nashoba, 4 p.m.
  • JV girls basketball: at Nashoba, 5:30 p.m.
  • JV boys basketball: vs. Nashoba, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity swimming/diving: vs. Bromfield, at Atkinson Swimming Pool, 6:30 p.m.
  • Varsity girls basketball: at Nashoba, 7 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: vs. Nashoba, 7 p.m.

5.  In case you missed it: Suspicious person report was false alarm.

A Mill Pond School student's report Wednesday that "he thought he had seen a suspicious person" on the school property was a false alarm, School Superintendent Marianne O'Connor said Wednesday night.
