Westborough Planning Board Meets Tuesday Night

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Congratulate Tim Sherman.

He recently earned his black belt, according to Villari's Martial Arts of Westborough's Facebook page.

2.  Root for the Rangers.

Here is Tuesday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Gibbons Middle School girls basketball: vs. Sherwood Middle School of Shrewsbury, 3:45 p.m.
  • Freshman boys basketball: at Leominster, 4 p.m.
  • Freshman girls basketball: vs. Leominster, 4 p.m.
  • Gibbons Middle School boys basketball: vs. Sherwood Middle School of Shrewsbury, 4:45 p.m.
  • JV boys basketball: at Leominster, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: at Leominster, 7 p.m.


3. Attend the Westborough Planning Board meeting.

The board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Forbes Municipal Building. The agenda includes a discussion of Spectrum Health Systems' plans for 155 Oak St.

4. Enjoy a concert.

Westborough High School will host a Bands Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

5. In case you missed it: Police charge owner in underage drinking party.

Twenty youths under age 21 were seen at a reported underage drinking party at a Westborough home Saturday night, Westborough Police say.
