Westborough Business Supports 2 Food Banks

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Decorate a wreath.

A wreath decorating workshop will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at Harvey's Farm in Westborough. Pre-registration Is required. The cost is $10, plus the cost of materials. For more information, contact 508-366-1545 or harveysfarm@yahoo.com.

2. Hear a story.

The Westborough Public Library offers a two-time story time for ages two and three at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

3. Check your home's energy efficiency.

The library has posted this on its website: "National Grid has donated two home energy kits to the library. Come in and borrow one (circulation period is two weeks) to check the energy consumption of your appliances. Identify which appliances are wasting energy. Each kit contains a home energy meter (Kill A Watt meter) and a set of instructions.

4. A Westborough business supported two food banks this Thanksgiving.

 According to a press release, Employer Advantage Group donated 10 turkeys to the food banks at South Worcester Neighborhood Center and Centro Las Americas.

5. In case you missed it: the Westborough Design Center is 25.
