State Rep. Beaton Visits Westborough on Friday

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Talk with a legislator.

State Rep. Matthew Beaton holds an office hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Westborough Public Library meeting room.

2. Gibbons Middle School students, ready to dance?

Gibbons holds a school dance from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

3. Drive carefully this weekend.

Massachusetts State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday into Sunday on a public way within Worcester County.

4. Catch "The Comedy of Errors."

Westborough High School's Center Stage theater company performs "The Comedy of Errors," its first Shakespearean play in three years, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10, and may be purchased at the door.

5. In case you missed it: Westborough is getting bus service.

The Worcester Regional Transit Authority will offer local bus service in Westborough on Monday through Friday starting Monday, Dec. 2,
