St. Mary's Credit Union Helps Football Fans Stay Warm

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. A cool treat was offered during Thursday's Westborough-Algonquin varsity football game.

St. Mary's Credit Union offered fans free coffee, hot cocoa and tea, in honor of the credit union's 100th anniversary. The football field was so cold that some wet spots were icy, causing at least one slip.

Did you know that Westborough's New Hope Chapel's annual "Day After Thanksgiving" touch football game is at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Hastings Elementary School?

4. Try yoga.

Westborough's new Cognoscenti Yoga is offering classes on Friday. Visit the studio's Facebook page for more information.

5. In case you missed it: Santa is coming to Westborough.

The annual tree lighting presented by the Rotary Club of Westborough will be held at the rotary beginning at 5 p.m., event chairman Adam Boyce said Wednesday.
