School is Out Early Friday

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. School is out early.

Friday is an early release day in the Westborough public schools.

2. Play with Legos.

The Westborough Public Library offers Lego Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

3. Check out Congregation B'nai Shalom's Hanukkah photos.

"Our 7th - 12th graders enjoyed a special dinner and program for Hanukkah! Check out these great shots of our kids in action!" according to Congregation B'nai Shalom's Facebook page.

4. Prepare for breakfast with Santa.

The First United Methodist Church of Westborough hosts Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. Saturday.

5. In case you missed it: Westborough's school superintendent is retiring.

Westborough School Superintendent Marianne O'Connor announced her retirement during Wednesday night's school committee meeting, effective after this school year.
