School Committee Discussing Budgets Wednesday

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Wednesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Attend the Westborough School Committee meeting.

The Westborough School Committee meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Forbes Municipal Building. The agenda is here, and includes discussions of these budgets: high school, athletics, fine arts, special education and technology.

2. Buying a guitar? Learn the keys.

The Westborough Public Library hosts a free seminar on buying your first guitar, at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

3. In case you missed it: The Westborough Food Pantry needs help.

The Westborough Food Pantry is "almost out of everything right now" as Thanksgiving approaches, Director Phil Kittredge says.

4. Attend the Westborough Historical Commission meeting.

The board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Forbes Municipal Building. The agenda includes a discussion of two letters from the Massachusetts Historical Commission regarding the Lyman School.

5. Support the Mill Pond School.

The Mill Pond Parent Group meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
