Ready For Football?

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Ready for football?

Westborough and Algonquin play their traditional Thanksgiving Day football game, at 10:15 a.m. at Algonquin. Tickets are available at the game for $10.

2. Have breakfast with the Masons.

The Siloam Lodge of Masons holds its annual All You Can Eat Breakfast at 8 a.m. Organizers note that the event supports the Masonic Angel Fund.

3. Enjoy the community's Thanksgiving dinner.

The 43rd Annual Westborough Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at 1 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St., Westborough. Admission is free, and transportation to the event is available. At least 75 volunteers are expected to participate.

5. In case you missed it: Westborough tax bills are going up.

The average Westborough single-family homeowner faces a $161.50 tax increase based on a new single tax rate presented by the board of assessors Tuesday night.
