Rangers For a Cure Offer Sand Art at Farmers' Market

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Help Westborough High students in the fight against cancer.

The WHS Rangers for a Cure tell Westborough Patch that their last Westborough Farmers' Market appearance is Thursday. The club will have a sand art booth. Small bottles are $1, and large bottles are $2.

2. Enter the Friends of the Westborough Public Library's contest.

The Friends' PASSport to Discovery contest ends soon.

3. Learn about Zentangle.

Zentangle creators Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas will appear from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Mill Pond School.

Copies of their new book, "The Book of Zentangle," will be available for purchase and signing. Admission is free, and the public is welcome.

4. One of the most expensive homes on the Westborough market has sold.

The home at 9 Olde Hickory Path sold for $1,362,500.

5. The editor had a nice vacation.

He spent a few days in upstate New York, visiting family.
