Library's Public Computers Will be Down Thursday

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Weigh in on a tree removal.

A public hearing about plans to remove a pine tree from 121 West Main St. will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the DPW office, 131 Oak St.

2. You can't use the Westborough Public Library's computers on Thursday.

System maintenance is planned, according to the library's website.

3. Enjoy Simchat Torah festivities.

Beth Tikvah Synagogue will hold them at 6 p.m. Thursday.

4. Learn about the Armstrong Elementary School Diversity Council.

The council meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

5. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Thursday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Gibbons Middle School cross-country: vs. Melican Middle School of Northborough, at Veterans Freedom Park, 3:30 p.m.
  • Golf: vs. Quabbin, at Westborough Country Club, 3:30 p.m.
  • JV girls soccer: vs. Quabbin, at Mill Pond School, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity girls soccer: vs. Quabbin, 4 p.m.
  • JV boys soccer: at Quabbin, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity boys soccer: at Quabbin, 4 p.m.
