Learn to Play the Piano

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1.  Give blood.

The Westborough Community Blood Drive will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church of Westborough, 120 West Main St.

2.  Learn to play the piano.

Dennis Deyo offers lessons in playing the piano by the chords at the Westborough Senior Center at 2 p.m. The book cost for the first year is $38, and the cost per class is $5, according to January's Westborough Senior Scene.

3. Attend the budget public hearing.

A public hearing on Town Manager Jim Malloy's budget proposal will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Forbes Municipal Building.

4. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Tuesday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Freshman boys basketball: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • JV girls basketball: at Groton-Dunstable, 5:30 p.m.
  • JV boys basketball: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 7 p.m.
  • Varsity girls basketball: at Groton-Dunstable, 7 p.m.
5. Support the Gibbons Middle School.

The Gibbons Parent Group meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the school library.
