Kids, Shoot Free Throws Tuesday Night

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1.  Learn about bird photography.

Peter Christoph presents "The Epic Adventures of a Massachusetts Bird Photographer," a narrated slideshow, at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Westborough Public Library.

2.  Shoot free throws.

The Knights of Columbus' annual free throw competition is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Mill Pond School.

3. Take babysitting lessons.

They'll be offered at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Mill Pond School. The course is open to anyone ages 11 to 13. The cost is $55.

4. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Tuesday's Westborough High School and Gibbons Middle School sports schedule:

  • Freshman girls basketball: vs. Hopkinton, at Hopkinton Middle School, 3:30 p.m.
  • Varsity swimming and diving: vs. Northbridge, at Atkinson Swimming Pool, 3:30 p.m.
  • Gibbons girls basketball: vs. Oak Middle School, 3:45 p.m.
  • JV girls basketball: vs. Quabbin, 4:30 p.m.
  • Gibbons boys basketball: vs. Oak Middle School, 4:45 p.m.
  • JV boys basketball: at Quabbin, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity girls basketball: vs. Quabbin, 6 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: at Quabbin, 7 p.m.
5. In case you missed it: Police are investigating a car break-in.

The incident was reported on Wheeler Road at 3:14 p.m. Sunday, according to the Westborough Police log.
