Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.
It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Dykema supports raising age of juvenile jurisdiction to 18.
State Rep. Carolyn Dykema (D-Holliston) said Wednesday night in a press release that she applauds Gov. Deval Patrick for signing the bipartisan legislation, which she co-sponsored.
"Brain development research in recent years has shown that adolescents between the ages of 11 and 18 are at a critical point of growing and developing and this change will ensure that we are giving a real chance for rehabilitation for these youths," Dykema said.
2. Help fight hunger.
A hunger panel will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 3 John St.
3. Hear from an author.
Ted Reinstein, a longtime correspondent for "Chronicle" on WCVB-TV, will discuss his new book, “A New England Notebook” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Westborough Public Library.
4. Network.
A networking group meets from 10 a.m. to noon in the Tatnuck Bookseller event room.
5. Root for the Rangers.
