Get a Halloween Glow Stick

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Kids: Westborough Police have glow sticks for Halloween.

From the Westborough Police Department's Facebook page: "The Westborough Police Department and the Patrol Officer's Union Local 439 are giving away free glow sticks for Halloween. Come by the Westborough Police Station at 45 West Main Street and each child will receive one free glow stick. Please visit the Westboroughpolice.com web site for Halloween safety tips."

2. Congratulate Mark's Moving.

Mark's Moving and Storage in Westborough recently received Arpin Vanlines' Silver Quality Agent Award.

"The honor is given each year to those agents who consistently provide high quality service to their customers," according to a press release from Mark's Moving.

3. Discuss the Kennedy assassination.

The Westborough Public Library will present "The Kennedy Assassination: 50 Years Later," by Christopher Daley at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

4. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Tuesday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Varsity boys soccer: vs. Algonquin, 3:30 p.m.

5. In case you missed it: Westborough High inducted a new Athletic Hall of Fame class.
