Enjoy a Slice of Pie

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Enjoy a slice of pie.

The Westborough Senior Center Supporters host a Slice of Pie Social from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday. Learn about this new group during the event.

2. Get a wine bottle professionally engraved on Saturday.

Julio's Liquors hosts the engraving session from 1 to 5 p.m.

3. Play with Legos.

The Westborough Public Library holds a Lego Club from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

4. Buy Thanksgiving Day football tickets.

Westborough High School Director of Athletics Johanna DiCarlo is reminding the community: tickets for the Thanksgiving Day varsity football game between Westborough and host Algonquin are available at the WHS main office next Monday through Wednesday, during school hours, for $5. Tickets are available at the game for $10. Kickoff is at 10:15 a.m. on Thanksgiving.

5. In case you missed it: Florence Medical Uniforms -- which bills itself as the "Pioneers of Nursing" -- is coming to Westborough.

The firm has signs up at the Westborough Shopping Center, at Lyman Street at Route 9, in space near Supercuts.
