Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Westborough Senior Center

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Westborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Westborough Senior Center.

The senior center holds a New Year's Eve party from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday. The Two Timers Band will perform. Tickets are $3.

2. Visit the Westborough Public Library early.

The library closes at 1 p.m. Tuesday for New Year's Eve.

3. Buy a ticket for mini-golf.

The Friends of the Westborough Public Library will offer mini-golf from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 1. Tickets are $7 at the door -- but $5 in advance, and available here.

4. Run for office.

There's a 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 deadline for taking out nomination papers for the March 4 annual town election.

5. In case you missed it: Pencil case project earned her a Girl Scout Silver Award.

More than 100 elementary students in Westborough and Worcester have pencil cases, most of them filled with school supplies, thanks to Megan Donaty.
