1. The Westborough Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Committee has a new member.

Tuesday night, selectmen appointed Nancy Siegel to serve until June 30.

2. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Wednesday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Golf: at Shrewsbury, at Mount Pleasant Country Club, 3:30 p.m.
  • Freshman field hockey: vs. Algonquin, 3:30 p.m.
  • Varsity field hockey: at Algonquin, 4 p.m.
  • JV field hockey: at Algonquin, 5:30 p.m.
3. Write a Letter to the Editor

Westborough Patch has a new blog for Letters to the Editor. Share your opinions.

4. Attend the BNI meeting

BNI meets from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Tatnuck Bookseller's Event Room.

5. Lace up your skates.

Starting this Saturday, NorthStar Ice Sports -- formerly the North Star Youth Forum -- will open Rink C for public skating on weekends, from September to April, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. both days.
