The Westborough Public School District has once again been recognized as being a "Best Community for Music Education" by the NAMM Foundation. The NAMM Foundation is dedicated towards promoting the importance of music education in the United States.
Westborough is one of 6 districts in Massachusetts to receive this recognition, with the others being: Duxbury, Lynn, Wakefield, Wayland, and Weston.
Districts are chosen on the basis of a financial support, classroom time, classroom space, teacher certification, and opportunities for children in school and outside school, and the level of community support.
This is the third consecutive year that Westborough has received this recognition and the sixth time in the past 10 years we have been recognized for our efforts and achievements.

Well deserved! All I can say is "Thank you!" to everyone - teachers, parents, administration - that make this a reality. So many kids, including mine, have absolutely thrived at WHS, in great part because of its EXCELLENT music programs. Best wishes for an awesome concert tonight!
