The Westborough Public Library and the Westborough Farmers' Market are co-sponsoring the outdoor movie series at Bay State Green.
Westborough residents this summer will catch a movie at a popular reading spot. The Westborough Public Library and the Westborough Farmers' Market will co-sponsor a free Thursday night outdoor movie series, "Movies on the Green," at Bay State Green from June 20 to July 25. The movies will start at 8:30 p.m. Library Director Maureen Ambrosino said library officials hope the series has five parts. Admission will be free, through sponsorships the library seeks, she said. "This is a perfect location, right near the downtown, for people to come," Ambrosino said. The Farmers' Market's Dave McMahon said that "Thursdays have become a great day in the summer for Westborough." This year's Westborough Farmers' Market will be noon to 6 p.m., including…

Singer-songwriter Tom Potosnak is among the performers scheduled to play at the event, which is part of the Westborough Spring Festival.
Singer-songwriter Tom Potosnak has performed for very few audiences lately. Guests at the Westborough Spring Festival Music Fest this Saturday will hear selections from the reason why. "Subject To Change," the Westborough resident's third CD, came out earlier this month. Potosnak plans to include some of the 11 new songs in his show at 1 p.m. at the Bay State Green stage at Bay State Commons. Music Fest is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's part of the Westborough Spring Festival hosted by the Rotary Club of Westborough. "This festival really is the first thing I have going on, performance-wise, in a while," said Potosnak, who owns Exhibit Sense in Westborough ("we design and produce trade show exhibits for companies" for trade shows). "When I'm …

The exhibit runs until May 10.
The Art and Frame Emporium's newest exhibit features 12 paintings by Back Bay artist Jordan Montgomery. Montgomery said the paintings represent some of her work over the past seven years. Montgomery said she assembled the exhibit after an Emporium employee urged her to sell her art at the store. Montgomery had stopped in with of her paintings for her boyfriend's mother for Christmas. She returned two to three weeks later with more of her work, and was invited to do a show.
