Why Was the Regal Cinemas Sign Empty During the Blizzard?
The latest 'You Ask, Patch Answers' addresses that question.
Editor's note: In our column "You Ask, Patch Answers," we help you to find answers to your questions. Email westborough@patch.com if you have a question that you would like us to investigate.
Today, we answer this emailed inquiry:
"What is going on with the Westborough movie theater (Regal Cinemas)? Apparently I’ve missed something - I can’t find movie listings online for it and we noticed there are no showtimes listed on the signboard on Route 9. The Regal at Solomon Pond Mall doesn’t have any showtimes listed for it either. Is the whole chain going out of business or just certain locations or what?"
Westborough Patch asked Regal Entertainment Group Vice President of Marketing and Communications Russ Nunley about this.
"The lettering on the sign on Route 9 is cleared when a major storm is coming. Once enough snow is removed away from the base, the titles will go back up. Sorry for any inconvenience," Nunley said.
"Regarding online info, not sure why the reader had some trouble, but it could have been a spotty outage due to storm also."

Hi Townie,
Thank you for your comment. A Westborough Patch reader posed this question with sincerity, and Regal was kind enough to answer it.
I'm always looking for questions for this feature. Do you have one to offer?
