Today, we answer this emailed inquiry: When will the NorthStar Youth Forum's new rink open?

NorthStar anticipates breaking ground either Feb. 11 or Feb. 18, Executive Director Denise Marco said today.

The $4 million Rink C project is expected to open Labor Day weekend, she said. A Nov. 30 grand opening is planned.

“It’s going to expand our current programs, and to allow new programs to come in,” Marco said.

“We’ve pretty much exhausted every inch of ice. So, we have to do it.”
