Northborough and Westborough Police together are investigating car breaks that happened in the towns over the weekend.

Northborough Police said one car on Davis Street and the other on Tomahawk Drive were broken into between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Cash and gift cards were stolen from the vehicle parked on Tomahawk Drive and cash, credit cards and identification documents were stolen from the car on Davis.

"Both vehicles had been rummaged through," Northborough Police Lt. Bill Lyver said.

"Items were found scattered about in the cars, on the driveways and along Davis Street."

Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said the incidents in Westborough were on Andrews Road and Brook Way.
