A Westborough man trapped inside his car after an overnight rollover crash on Ruggles Street today faces a drunk driving charge.

Westborough firefighters extricated Kile M. Pizza, 29, of 4 Edgewood Road from the 2007 Lexus, which rolled onto its roof on Ruggles near Deerslayer Lane, Westborough Police said in a press release.

Paramedics treated Pizza for minor injuries after the crash and transported him to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, police said.

The crash was reported about 1:18 a.m.

"The investigation showed that Mr. Pizza was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a curbing, then a tree and rolling over," police said. Officer Caleb Polseno investigated the crash.

Police charged Pizza with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating so as to endanger, speeding and failure to keep within marked lanes.

Pizza will be summonsed to Westborough District Court for arraignment, police said.
