Water Main Break Causes Dirty Water Monday in Westborough
The incident happened at a West Main Street office complex.
Downtown Westborough had dirty water Monday after an early morning water main break at a private West Main Street office complex.
The private three-building complex at 110-112-114 West Main St." has had "a couple of breaks" before, Westborough Department of Public Works Operations Manager Dennis Cote said today.
The latest water main break was "substantial," as Westborough "lost 1.6 million gallons of water," Cote said.
A private contractor repaired the break that day, he said.
