Disposing of a Christmas tree through a local student group will help support the youths' High Adventure trips.

Westborough Venture Crew 100 members will pick up residents' trees on Dec. 29, Jan. 5 and Jan. 12, treasurer Helen Gross said Monday.

Pick ups can be scheduled by calling Gross at 508-614-0514 and leaving the name, address, phone number and pick-up date, she said.

Completing the form on the venture crew's website, or e-mailing trees@venturecrew100.org are options, too.

Donations toward the group's programs and equipment should be left in a plastic bag attached to the tree, according to the website. Checks should be payable to "Venture Crew 100."
