This Girl Scout Is One Smart Cookie
Girl Scouts continue to canvas town offering cookies for sale.
Knowing that a box of Girl Scout cookies does not necessarily last long in most kitchens, 12-year-old Dominique Foody hit West Main Street on Saturday to see if anyone was ready to buy a fresh box of Girl Scout favorites.
“Thin Mints are the most popular,” she told Westborough Patch. “Although more people are buying Tagalongs, too.”
Dominique, a member of Westborough Cadette Girl Scout Troop 30555, was joined by her sister Michaela, 15. The two were spotted pulling a nearly-empty wagon, once full of Girl Scout cookies.
Girl Scouts all over town will continue to sell cookies through March 4. This year, cookies are sold on a cash-and-carry basis. The cost is $4 a box.
Troop leaders and Girl Scouts are welcome to post upcoming sales dates and locations for free on Westborough Patch by uploading information to our Calendar of Events.
