I personally thought that the republicans on one side and the democrats on the other ....separated by maybe 10 feet ....formed a sort of gauntlet which was a tad on the intimidating side for many people entering the town meeting.

Everybody was laughing and talking with each other on both sides. It was a very friendly plaza. Mike Sullivan was very polite and said hello and shook hands with everyone regardless of party and what sign they held. Most importantly, the voters going in to the town meeting were very happy to meet him !

I was thrilled to meet Mike Sullivan and ask him questions and he stood there and talked to me at length. He's very knowledgeable and experienced. He covered his background as US Attorney for Massachusetts, DA for Plymouth county, also he was State Rep for 6 years, and he was director of ATF at the national level. He's also had practical business experience in the private sector for 16 years working at Gillette Co. starting as a stock clerk and working his way up to assistant to the President. Mike Sullivan is very impressive.
