Winter technically reaches its finish line this week -- if it can find it buried under the fresh snow headed toward Central Mass.

Another five to nine inches of heavy snow, plus some ice, are due starting very late tonight, the National Weather Service in Taunton said Sunday night.

The agency has issued a winter storm watch for Monday evening through Tuesday night for the region, including Framingham, Milford and Worcester.
