The Spices Indian Kitchen grocery store plans to add 30 seats.
Selectmen on Tuesday night approved the common victualer's permit requested by Amar Jit Dhanjal for the eatery, which offers an Indian takeout menu, at 164 Milk St., in the Westmeadow Plaza.
"I know several people who have tasted your takeout and said it's delicious," Selectman Leigh Emery said.
