New Hampshire Marine Patrol officers continued to search the waters off Portsmouth on Thursday in an effort to locate the body of murdered University of New Hampshire student and Westborough resident Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott, according to WMUR.

The television station reports that the search began anew early Thursday. Boats continue to search the area around Peirce Island, using sonar and underwater cameras.

Seth Mazzaglia of Dover is charged with second degree murder in Marriott's death. A vigil for Marriott is being held this afternoon on the UNH campus.
