This time, they're helping still storm-ravaged New York and New Jersey.
Donations will be accepted at the police and fire stations from Wednesday to Saturday, organizers said in a press release Monday. The collection hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The items being accepted are:
- New blankets
- Non-perishable food
- Unopened cleaning supplies
- Pet food
- Bottled water
- New stuffed animals
- School supplies
"Although several weeks have past, people of New York and New Jersey are still
in desperate need of assistance. Homes are still in need of repair and some still do not have power!" organizers said in the press release.
"Thanksgiving is upon us and we cannot forget our fellow Americans in need."
A truck donated by Mark's Moving and Storage will deliver the donations.
