It's the month that hosts Valentine's Day. Whether you embrace the holiday, feel obligated to recognize it with your special someone, or would prefer it didn't exist: this contest is for you.

Photos that illustrate Valentine's Day include a spread of flowers, chocolates, and other gifts associated with Feb. 14, your special someone, a photo of a great couple, or something else that illustrates love. Get creative! Or not! We want to see your photos, either way.

All entries will have a chance at winning a $25 gift card to a local business.

Photos must be uploaded by 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, Feb. 18. If you like a particular photo, voice your support for it in the comments. The winner, chosen by Patch editors, will be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Eligibility is limited to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
