The following information was obtained from the logs of the Westborough police and fire departments and scanner reports. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Here are excerpts from the Westborough police and fire logs. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting.

Monday, Jan. 30

1:13 a.m.: Westborough paramedics and Sgt. Peter Goodney assisted with a request for an ambulance on Turnpike Road.

5:29 a.m.: Westborough paramedics and Officer Paul Pinto helped at a request for emergency services on Fairview Road. A patient was taken to the hospital.

5:53 a.m.: Officer Dean Paine investigated a report of vandalism on Turnpike Road. A field interrogation report was filed.

7:23 a.m.: Officer Paul Pinto responded to a traffic incident at the junction of Milk Street and Fairview Road. ARRESTED: Anderson Almeida Leite, 31, 27 Hosmer St., Apt. 8, Marlborough. CHARGES: Operating a motor vehicle without a license, speeding, warrant.

10:03 a.m.: Officer Clifford Luce assisted at the scene of a two car crash at the intersection of Upton Road and Morse Street. The cars were reported to be in a ditch. A tow truck was requested. A field interrogation report was filed.

10:28 a.m.: Westborough paramedics and Sgt. Steven Reale helped with a request for emergency services on Glen Street where an elderly woman was said to be feeling ill.

12:12 p.m.: Officer Clifford Luce investigated an incident on Oak Street. ARRESTED: Peter Dennis Deasy, 52, 25 Whitney St., Northborough. CHARGES: Operating under the influence of liquor.

2:42 p.m.: Officer Jeffrey Johnson and Westborough paramedics responded to a request for emergency assistance for an elderly woman on Milk Street with back pain.

5:21 p.m.: Officer Leeanne Baker assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

10:05 a.m.: Officer Clifford Luce investigated a reported larceny on Flanders Road. A field interrogation report was filed.

11:10 a.m.: Westborough paramedics assisted an elderly woman on Lyman Street who reportedly fell.

11:56 a.m.: Westborough paramedics helped to transport a patient to the hospital. From the Reliant Group on East Main Street.

3:42 p.m.: Officer Clifford Luce investigated a reported online scam. A field interrogation report was filed.

6:56 p.m.: Officer Leeanne Baker assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

8:11 p.m.: Officer Richard Trainor helped a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

10:10 a.m.: A resident of Steven Road reported receiving a disturbing letter. Officer Gregory McRae investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

1:38 p.m.: A crash was reported on Turnpike Road. Officer Terry Peters responded. A field interrogation report was filed.

5:31 p.m.: A crash was reported on East Main Street. Officer Laura Grasso assisted.

6:43 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Denfeld Drive. Westborough paramedics, Officer Jeffrey Keaveney and Officer Laura Grasso responded. A patient was taken to the hospital.

7:49 p.m.: A crash was reported on Robinson Place. Officers Jeffrey Keaveney and Tyson Delong investigated.

8:37 p.m.: A crash was reported at the intersection of Glen and Nourse streets. Officer Jeffrey Keaveney responded. A field interrogation report was filed.

Thursday, Feb. 2

12:36 p.m.: A one car crash was reported on Turnpike Road. A woman was said to have veered off the road and into the median near the Officer Leeanne Baker assisted at the scene. A field interrogation report was filed.

3:16 p.m.: A resident of Robin Road called police to say that his son and a friend felt they were followed on their way home by a man with glasses, in a suit, driving a black pick up truck with a cap. Officer Terry Peters and Sgt. Peter Goodney investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

4 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Beach Street. Westborough paramedics, Sgt. Jonathan Kalagher and Officer Michael Daniels responded. A patient was taken to the hospital.

6:20 p.m.: Sgt. Jonathan Kalagher assisted with a report of a domestic issue on West Main Street. A field interrogation report was filed.

6:30 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong investigated a report of harassing phone calls on Baker Way. A field interrogation report was filed.

7:59 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong, Officer Michael Daniels and Sgt. Jonathan Kalagher responded to a disturbance on Mayberry Drive. ARRESTED: Dimple J. Mistry, 38, 135 East Main St., Apt. R1, Westborough. CHARGES: Trespassing, disturbing the peace, criminal harassment.

8:41 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Milk Street. Westborough paramedics and Officer Tyson Delong assisted. A patient was taken to the hospital.
