Logs: Charges of Drugs, OUI, Shoplifting and More

These are the Westborough related cases for the past week as they appeared in the logs of the Westborough District Court.

Monday, Jan. 9

Georgina Lambert, 48, of 49 Belknap St., Westborough, was summonsed to court on a complaint by Westborough police Jan. 7 and charged with OUI liquor, failure to stop/yield and speeding. Judge Vito Virzi continued the case to Feb. 17.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

Emeraldo Luxum, 26, 135 East Main St., Apt. H12, Westborough, was summonsed to Westborough District Court on Dec. 2 after Northborough police filled out a complaint charging Luxum with speeding in a special regulation zone. Judge David Locke found him responsible, and he was issued a $500 fine.

Beverly A. Greene, 57, 65 South St., Apt. 2, Westborough, was arrested on Sept. 8 by Westborough police for possession of Class B drugs, uttering a false prescription (two counts), and forgery of a document (two counts). Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the drug and forgery charges. Greene admitted to sufficient facts for uttering a false prescription and Virzi sentenced her to one-year probation. She was ordered to substance evaluation and treatment and to remain drug free and take random screenings.

Ravi K. Edasuryachandra, 39, 135 East Main St., Apt. R1, Westborough, was summonsed to Westborough District Court on Dec. 12 when Westborough police filled out a complaint on charges of leaving the scene of personal injury and failure to yield at an intersection. Judge David Locke continued the case to Feb. 9.

Huy K. Phung, 40, 68 Timrod Drive, Worcester, was arrested on Dec. 9 by Westborough police and charged with shoplifting over $100 by asportation and larceny under $250. Judge Robert Gardner found Phung guilty of shoplifting, and he was given four months in the House of Correction.

Friday, Jan. 13

Raymond Hans, 66, of 11 Glenview St., Upton, was summonsed to the court after the Massachusetts State Police filed a complaint on Sept. 27. Hans was charged with six counts of uttering a false prescription and six counts of obtaining a drug by fraud for incidents which occurred at Target and a Stop in Shop in Westborough and at Price Chopper in Shrewsbury on April 2, 9 and 23. The defendant admitted to sufficient facts on one charge of uttering a false prescription. Judge Vito Virzi found sufficient facts and continued the case without finding until Jan. 11, 2013, ordered Hans to pay $90 in fees and submit to random drug screening. On one charge of obtaining a drug by fraud, Hans admitted to sufficient facts. Sufficient facts were found, but the case was continued without finding until Jan. 11, 2013. All other charges were dismissed by request of the commonwealth and defendant.
