Letter to the Editor: Lamb Represents 'New Voice'
Writer supports candidate's proposals to control state spending.
To the Editor:
Gas is now $4 per gallon. There is no end in sight on how much we are going to be paying. If we have a cold winter, gas could easily reach $5 per gallon. This is absolutely the wrong time to raise the gas tax. Drivers cannot afford any more.
Unfortunately, our state representative, Carolyn Dykema, who voted to raise our sales tax 25 percent and voted to double tax alcohol, (and) supports raising the gas tax. Also, she likes toll increases and has opposed legislation requiring that all toll increases be implemented by only a vote of the Legislature.
On the other hand, Marty Lamb is opposed to raising the gas tax. He knows that our state doesn’t have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem. Lamb has several proposals to control state spending. He would not support sending our tax dollars to bail out Lawrence, like Ms. Dykema did.
This election I am supporting the candidate with the backbone to stand up to the Speaker. The Speaker is refusing to rule out tax increases and has not helped the small business community. We need a new leader who will stand up for us at the State House. That’s why I am proudly casting my vote for Marty Lamb.
It is time for a new voice. I’m voting for Marty Lamb for representative.

As seen on Marty's website, www.electmartylamb.com, he has a great deal of substance behind him. He has concrete written plans to bring our economy back to life and bring integrity back to Beacon Hill. We have 3 convicted Speakers at this moment, with pending indictments on the parole board scandal. We need someone who will fight for integrity and transparency in the State House. That person is Marty Lamb. Vote Lamb on Tuesday, November 6th.

Agreed ! Marty Lamb is a successful small business owner who has managed really well and made all the right decisions in a lousy economy. That takes a keen understanding of business and how the economy works. He has the business experience and the ideas. He knows what it takes to create jobs in the private sector which are jobs that last. About 80% of jobs are in small business.
Lamb is the one who brings the reality check to Beacon Hill, and that is sorely needed. He will bring private sector solutions to an institution that is stuck in reverse. We need to move forward with Marty Lamb and ideas that work !

Marty Lamb supports a family and runs a small business and is well respected. We know him. He has many people knocking on his door and calling him up, and he always makes time to deal with each and every case with the utmost sincerity.
This is the type of thinking we need on Beacon Hill. Someone who thinks outside the box and that's Marty Lamb. It will take fresh ideas and proposals and workable solutions to fix the financial mess we are in. It's time to replace the stagnation we have now. It's not getting us anywhere.
Marty Lamb as State Representative Marty Lamb is the man who will contribute to the turnaround we need in the economy with his economic revival plan. Beacon Hill needs some street smarts from a man who knows what it takes from experience, background, and his own ingenuity. Marty Lamb brings all the right ingredients. That's the recipe for Beacon Hill - State Representative Marty Lamb

This is why Citizens For Limited Taxation (CLT) endorsed Marty Lamb. They know who is the true friend of the taxpayer and that's Lamb. They are a terrific watchdog group. CLT really watches out for the taxpayer.
Barbara Anderson is a Independent true and tireless champion for working families. A State Representative Marty Lamb will serve us well on Beacon Hill.

For me it's a simple equation. I know Marty – I know him as one of us.
I know Dykema – she considers herself one of the enlightened elite.
Marty will read the bills; - he will be able to envision their effect on our lives and he'll foresee the unintended consequences. He has the courage to quietly buck the tide and vote “NO” on bad bills. He won't sell his vote to the speaker for favors or to the unions for campaign contributions.
We need a LOT MORE Martys!

Mr Lamb's endoresement are from outside the district and cant vote for him. Even Iron Mike cant vote for Mr Lamb from Acton! Mr Lamb lacks grassroots local level community experience to then earn an opportunity to go to Beacon Hill.
The outpouring of public endorsements, community leaders, the MWDN are ALL for Carolyn Dykema. All who live and are voters in the 8th district, see Carolyn as the tireless pro active giver in OUR community, we have got it right and will all be voting to re-elect Carolyn Dykema tomorrow!
