Letter: Gregoire Endorses Dodd for Selectman
The annual town election is March 5.
To the Editor:
Tim Dodd is the perfect choice for Westborough selectman.
Tim has dedicated his career to the people of the Commonwealth and works every day to make his hometown a better place to live, work, and raise a family. A lifelong resident of Westborough, Tim is currently serving his second three-year term on the board of selectmen and has brought expertise in local governance and policy as well as utilizing emerging technologies to provide residents with up to the moment information.
Tim brings a unique and often underutilized perspective to town office as a young, innovative selectman who puts his community first. He argues for efficiency in government and has worked hard to bring new ideas forward such as pie charts that show residents how their dollars are spent. We in government must be able to work as a cohesive unit to overcome challenges that face us in the coming months and years.
Tim is in the third generation of his family to serve the Westborough community and I am confident that he is the best partner in government I could have as we move forward to improve access to jobs, continue to provide core town services, and protect the town’s open space for generations to come.
I have had a chance to get to know Tim and to work with him, and I am continuously impressed with his dedication to his hometown.
I ask for your vote to re-elect Tim Dodd to the Westborough Board of Selectmen on Tuesday, March 5.
Thank you for your consideration.
