Inmate Facing Charges in Westborough House Break

Westborough Police say his fingerprints match those found at the scene.

An inmate serving time for Westborough house breaks will be charged in an April 17 break on Edward Dunn Way, because his fingerprints matched those found at the scene, said today.

Schuyler D. Gibson, 28, was living at 39 Vernon St., Worcester at the time of the break-in, police said in a press release.

The Edward Dunn Way residents "discovered the house broken into and a large amount of valuables were stolen," according to the release.

State Police processed evidence from Westborough Police detectives, police said.

The State Police Crime Lab confirmed that fingerprints from the scene matched those belonging to Gibson, police said.

Gibson is incarcerated at the Worcester County House of Correction in
Boylston, "where he is serving time for other breaks that occurred in Westborough at the same time of this break," police said.

Gibson faces arraignment at Westboro District Court on the new charges at a later date, police said.
