An Indian restaurant franchise is being considered at the shopping center, Director of Public Health Paul McNulty says.

McNulty, Health Inspector Terry Gilchrist and "a number of department heads" met last month with "several people who are looking into possibly opening a restaurant at this small plaza," he told the board of health in his December report.

"The proposers did not have any experience in food service, but they said that the parent company would train them for two months," McNulty wrote.

"They are also looking at a site in Shrewsbury."
