IMAGE GALLERY: Revere Bell Leaves Westborough

The bell has left the belfry. One of only 26 bells known to be cast by Paul Revere, the Westborough Revere bell was taken from the belfry of the First Baptist Church on West Main Street this morning. It will be put on exhibit at the Old South Meeting House in Boston through the summer. It is expected to be hung in the Clock Tower of the Meeting House in the fall, where it will chime each hour.
