Heading Into Town Thursday? Don't Take Milk Street
Water and sewer work related to a building project will close part of Milk to through traffic.
Avoid Milk Street on Thursday, Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon says.
Water and sewer upgrades that are part of the Arcade Building renovation will prompt Milk to be closed to through traffic near Dairy Queen, Gordon said Monday in a press release.
Motorists should expect delays from about 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Gordon said.
Traffic will be sent to Summer Street, then to Phillips Street and back to Milk, he said.
"Traffic on Milk Street heading into town will be restricted to one lane on Wednesday," Gordon said.
"Traffic will be backed up, so please seek alternate routes."
Stonegate Group LLC is renovating the former Fayco Kitchen and Bath Center and an adjacent space, both on Milk Street, into five residential units and about 7,500 square feet of commercial space
