McDonald's in Westborough, and other locations throughout New England, want to hire up to 1,800 new crew members on Thursday.

"The one-day event will focus primarily on high school students who are interested in a position at McDonald’s," McDonald's officials said in a press release Tuesday.

McDonald's has two Westborough restaurants: at 166 East Main St., and 299 Turnpike Road.

Between 3 and 5 p.m., each McDonald's in the area will accept applications, hold interviews and give tours of the restaurant.

McDonald's employee benefits may include: flexible hours, competitive pay, health and dental insurance, scholarships, uniforms and free or discounted meals, according to the release.
