Fire Leaves Milk Street Barn 'A Total Loss'
One firefighter was treated for lacerations.
An early morning two-alarm fire left a Milk Street barn "a total loss," Westborough Fire Capt. Robert Rand said.
One firefighter was treated for lacerations at the UMass Medical Center before being released, Rand said.
The fire department received multiple calls reporting the fire at 221 Milk St. about 2:04 a.m., he said.
The resident was outside when firefighters arrived, Rand said.
The fire's cause and point of origin are under investigation, Rand said. The one-and-a-half story barn was used for storage.
Firefighters controlled the fire at 2:47 a.m., and left the scene at 4:34 a.m.
