Blue and White Library Card Is So Yesterday

New design unveiled during National Library Card Sign-Up Month.

That blue and white plastic card in your wallet is soon to be a collector's item. The unveiled a snazzy new design that includes a photo of the library in both wallet and keychain sizes.

“Patrons who wish to replace their old cards can do so for $1 by bringing their old cards to the Circulation Desk,” reported Maureen Ambrosino, library director.

The card is free for new patrons. A photo ID with current address is required at the Circulation Desk, where a short form to fill out is provided.

Children 12 and under can get a card by taking a parent to the Children’s Room on the lower level of the library.
